Never mix oil with your SPF

If you care about sun damage (and everyone should), you need to be careful with how and when you’re applying oils. “If mixed with SPF, oil can alter the original formula meaning your skin won’t have the same level of protection as you’d expect,” says Dr Zamani. If you’re dead set on using an oil in the day, it’s best to wait until they're fully absorbed before you apply sun cream over the top.
