Being handpicked by Rihanna to model her luxury clothing line, constantly sold-out lingerie, or beauty products is probably one of the highest honours someone could receive.

Then, to be chosen as one of her brands' first official ambassadors — you might just be royalty. That's probably how singer Normani felt when it was announced that she was Savage Fenty’s first brand ambassador in November of 2019. Since then, she has been serving us all the looks in the coveted undergarments. Her most recent look features a bright red two-piece set with a new hairstyle we hadn't yet seen on the star: waist-length cornrows.

She debuted the new hairstyle and lingerie on July 13 to her Instagram fans with the caption, "🍑🧡 #savagexambassador yes, I swear I still make music." In the four photos, she shows off the gorgeous fire-red Leopard Lace T-Shirt Bra with X Charm with the matching thong underwear while posing outside in front of an all-white background. But, naturally, our eyes are on that butt-length 'do.

Normani is no stranger to hair changes. She has given us slicked-back ponytails, box braids, and so much more. But, these cornrows are a new style for her. Each braid is parted and styled with precision; her edges are subtle but slicked down to match the fresh hairstyle; the medium-sized braids fall right below the waist for a look that's perfect for summer.

To match her cornrows, she has a natural, flawless beat with a hint of highlight and bronzer on the cheeks and a sheer lip gloss to bring it all together. Her light pink, almond-shaped nails complete the look.

When asked about how she felt being chosen as the brand's first ambassador back in November, she told Vogue, "I was very excited and really honored, especially that the ask came from Rihanna herself. I know that this is her passion project, something she genuinely and wholeheartedly believes in and cares about, and the fact that she wanted me to be a part of that meant a lot to me. She is somebody I've looked up to for a very, very long time."

We hope Normani knows that there are millions of people, especially young girls, who look up to her in the same way she looks up to Queen Riri.
