Selena Gomez said bigger is better. Disregarding the long-standing style credo that if you go large in one area, you should balance it out with smallness or tightness in another area (like a big skirt and a tiny crop top), Selena opted to pair her billowy white halter top with the most enormous jeans we could imagine on the 31-year-old actor.

In a recent mirror selfie, the Only Murders In the Building star showed off her baggy jeans look alongside the most unexpected accessory: a hand brace. The “Single Soon” singer recently revealed that she had surgery to mend a broken hand, which perhaps inspired a tomboyish aesthetic. We're pretty sure every 7th-grade skater dude has sported the same wrist brace by the end of summer, right? No? Just me? Fine. (Alexa, play “I Broke My Arm” by Emma Stone.)

Another aspect of the look that gives Selena Gomez an air of teen angst is her rebellious disregard for belts, despite the ultra-oversized pants. Is this the start of a JNCO resurgence? Stranger things have happened.

Recently, Selena Gomez celebrated three years of her cosmetics brand Rare Beauty, reflecting on Instagram, “Thank you for being on this journey with us. Together, we’ve been able to create meaningful conversations around beauty, self-acceptance, and mental health. I still pinch myself every day when I see our products @sephora I’m forever grateful for the way you’ve all shown up, shared your stories, and been vulnerable with one another. Because of you, we’ve built a safe space where everyone feels seen and celebrated. Love you guys!”

Plenty of room for lip glosses in those pockets, huh?
